Catherin Vargas

Catherin is the second generation owner and CEO of Sunrise Care Homes in Scottsdale, founded in 2000 by her mother Lida Cubillos, where the vision is to see residents thrive in a home environment of safety, happiness, and optimal health. We accomplish this through collaborative efforts of highly trained, experienced and motivated staff.

Catherin's background includes 15 years at Blue Cross Blue Shield AZ, where she led a clinical team to improve population health including diabetes/A1C management, reducing hospital re-admissions, heart disease, pain-management, and more. She uses these skills and knowledge now to advocate and coordinate the care of all residents at Sunrise Care Homes.

She now also serves on the AALHA board as treasurer.
